National Achievements:
National champion in patterns and finalist in bamboo in 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014.

World Achievement:
Bronze in bamboo cutting and open blackbelt patterns (University age) - 2012

Favourite Pattern and why:
Jangbaek 2, it's the perfect mix of quick, short and big, sweeping movements with elegant, flowing footwork. It really embodies the grace of Haidong Gumdo

What are you looking forward to most in Korea:
Catching up with some of the friends from previous years, as well as seeing where the art is at compared to 3 years ago. And the blackberry wine of course!

Why Haidong Gumdo:
After an ankle injury that prevented me from continuing with Taekwondo, Wolves Martial Arts started offering Haidong Gumdo at the perfect time. I looked it up online and found that it was a lot more dynamic than most of the Japanese styles of swordsmanship, and that really interested me, so I was there for the class and was hooked straight away.

Other martial art achievements:
2nd dan in WTF Taekwondo.

What is your spirit animal:
Obviously the wolf!

Favouite album:
I don't really have one, I tend to enjoy a bit from here and a bit from there...

What is your packing style - last minute or a month before:
Last minute. Luckily for me, Megan is all about lists and early preparation, so most of it is already done by then!
